“We Have Arrived” by Taxpayer

I’ve been waiting for a new full length album from Taxpayer for years. Their last, Bones and Lungs, was already a year old when I picked it up in 2006. They finally satisfied my need for new music, releasing Don’t Steal My Night Vision this past March. They’ve also taken my demands for more live shows quite seriously - and are fulfilling that wish with a trifecta this weekend.

Thursday, 5/7 (tonight!): New England Product presents Taxpayer live at New Alliance Studios. This will be filmed and recorded for WFNX, and I can also probably pull a few strings to get some content up here as well. ;-)

Friday, 5/8: The Pill featuring Taxpayer, live at Great Scott in Allston. The Pill is my favorite weekly dance party, so adding a band like Taxpayer into that is basically perfection.

Saturday, 5/9: The Everyday Visuals CD release party, with Taxpayer and Tiny Animals (also at Great Scott). You’re probably already aware that I adore The Everyday Visuals, so I probably don’t have to elaborate. I’ll just say that YOU.MUST.ATTEND.THIS.SHOW.
